Data collected is strictly processed for the following legitimate purposes: (a) verifying student eligibility and team composition; (b) administering online interviews and managing shortlist progression; (c) coordinating physical venue logistics, badge issuance, and security clearance in Nagpur; (d) processing direct prize money transfers and maintaining audit compliance under applicable Indian taxation laws; (e) publishing event archives, winner announcements, and project highlights; (f) verifying identity and administering non-transferable subsequent event entry privileges for verified individual winning candidates. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to commercial data brokers under any circumstances.

By submitting the registration form via Google Forms or participating in any phase of Corrusal 2027, you provide affirmative, explicit, and informed consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as outlined in this policy. If you are registering on behalf of a team, you warrant that you have obtained the explicit authorization and consent of every team member before submitting their information.

The event uses trusted third-party enterprise platforms for operational workflow: Google Workspace (Google Forms and Drive), GitHub (repository hosting and code audits), Google Meet / Zoom (remote interviews), and standard Indian banking / UPI payment gateways. These third-party processors maintain independent privacy standards. Organizers hold no liability for data security breaches, service interruptions, or privacy policy deviations occurring on third-party infrastructure.

By attending the Nagpur physical venue or participating in online interview rounds, participants grant Corrusal and its organizers an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to photograph, audio-record, film, and livestream their participation, presentations, and prototype demonstrations. You consent to the unrestricted use of your likeness, voice, name, and project presentation in promotional materials, press releases, social media, recap videos, and permanent digital archives without requirement of prior inspection or financial compensation.

We employ appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, accidental alteration, disclosure, or destruction of participant information. Access to raw registration databases and bank details is strictly restricted to authorized organizing committee members on a need-to-know basis. However, participants acknowledge that no method of transmission over the internet is completely infallible, and participants transmit information at their own risk.

Personal identification and contact records are retained for the duration of the hackathon event cycle and up to 12 months thereafter to handle dispute resolution, certificates of participation, and verification inquiries. Financial disbursement transaction receipts are retained as mandated by Indian tax audit regulations. Public project descriptions, team member names, and media recordings will be retained perpetually as part of the official historical event archive.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to: (a) request a summary of your personal data being processed; (b) request correction or updating of inaccurate data; (c) request erasure of personal data, provided that erasure does not conflict with mandatory audit, tax reporting, or fraud investigation requirements; (d) withdraw your consent for future communications. Withdrawing consent during the competition will result in automatic forfeiture of your team's registration.

To administer the exclusive privilege of free tickets to the subsequent Corrusal event awarded to winning teams, organizers collect and maintain verified identity records (government/student ID, verified email address, phone number, and full legal name) of winning candidates. You acknowledge and agree that: (a) The winning free ticket to the next event is strictly non-transferable and only valid for the verified individual winning candidates; (b) The privilege attaches exclusively to the individual winning candidates irrespective of subsequent team restructuring, renaming, or dissolution; (c) The free ticket cannot be sold, brokered, auctioned, assigned, transferred to alternate team members or third parties, or redeemed for cash under any circumstances; (d) Identity re-verification will be conducted against original hackathon credentials upon registration for the subsequent event. Any attempt at ticket spoofing, credential sharing, or unauthorized transfer results in immediate nullification of the ticket and a permanent ban.

Everything mentioned on this website—including without limitation event timelines, registration deadlines, round dates, interview slots, venue agenda, session timings, and operational procedures—is strictly tentative and subject to change without prior notice. In the event of unforeseen logistical constraints, technical interruptions, emergency developments, or administrative exigencies, organizers reserve the absolute unilateral right to alter schedules, adjust timings, or modify event flow.
